Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles. If you smoke in one of our vehicles you will be charged for additional cleaning costs.

Additional driver information

Additional drivers can be added for BHD 2.00 per day. The maximum charge is BHD 25.00 per rental.
Any additional drivers must be present when you collect the car. All drivers must meet our conditions of rental. See the Driver License/ID and Age Requirement sections for full details.

Age information

You must be at least 25 years old to rent at this location.
No young driver surcharge applies – drivers under the age of 25 are not permitted to rent a car from Prima Bahrain.
If you are over 65 years old you cannot rent at this location
No senior driver surcharge applies – drivers over the age of 65 are not permitted to rent a car from Prima Bahrain.

Payment options

We will take a deposit to cover any costs in case of damage or theft.
BD 150 to  BD 300

Cash
Cash may be used for the payment of rental charges only.
Cash may not be used for the deposit.

Debit Cards
Debit cards may be used to pay rental charges only.

Taking your vehicle outside the country

Sorry, Prima vehicles cannot be taken out of Bahrain.

Cancellations and No Show Charges

If you make a Pay on Arrival booking and do not collect your vehicle a fee of 50% of the rental cost will apply. If you no longer need your vehicle cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the pick-up time to avoid this charge.

Waiver and protection options

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver reduces your liability if the vehicle is damaged. If the vehicle is damaged you will pay the cost of repair up to the excess amount.
CDW is included in most rates sold on Prima websites.
Theft Protection is included in CDW. This reduces your liability if the vehicle is stolen (subject to an excess).
CDW is available at this location. The costs and excess charges are detailed in the table below. If your rate includes CDW this cost is already included in your rental price.

Theft Protection (TP)
Theft Protection reduces your liability if the vehicle is stolen (subject to an excess). The costs and excess charges are detailed in the table below. If your rate includes Theft Protection this cost is already included in your rental price.
Theft Protection is included in Collision Damage Waiver.

The maximum coverage in case of disability (per person) is BHD 500,000.00
The maximum coverage in case of death (per person) is BHD 500,000.00

Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability covers drivers in case of damage, including damage to passengers and their property, when using a Prima vehicle.
Third party liability is included in the rental price.
Maximum coverage in case of damage to property is BHD 500,000.00
Maximum coverage in case of personal injury is BHD 500,000.00
Maximum coverage in case of death is BHD 500,000.00

Delivery and collection

Driver’s license and ID requirements

Each driver must show photographic proof of identity and their passport at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and current driving license which has been held for at least 1 year. The license must be valid for use in the renting country.
If your license was issued outside the European Community you must provide an International Driving license. Your driving license must be valid according to the rules imposed by the Directorate of Traffic- Kingdom of Bahrain.

Fastbreak is available at this location.

Fuel charges

Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental. To avoid refuelling charges please return the car with a full tank of fuel.
If the fuel tank is not full we will fill the tank and charge you for the fuel. Fuel is charged at market price plus tax.
There is no charge for refuelling service. If you have a corporate or contracted agreement with us the requirements and charges may be different. Please check your contracted terms and conditions.

One Way Rentals

Sorry, one way rentals are not permitted.

Collecting and returning your vehicle

The driver must present proof of identity when collecting the vehicle. Please see the Driving Licence/ID Requirements section for more information.

During Office Hours
If you are delayed and arrive outside of office hours due to a delayed flight no additional charge will apply. This only applies if you enter your flight number when booking.
If you are late we will guarantee your rental for 24 hours. After this time your reserved car may be released and rented to another customer.

Out of Office Hours – Collection
It may be possible to collect the vehicle out of office hours. This must be requested at the time of booking. There is no charge for this service. This service is not available if the rental is booked online.

If you do not collect the vehicle a “No Show” charge of 50% of the rental charge will apply.


Out of Office Hours – Return
If the vehicle is returned outside of office hours the driver is liable for damage or theft until the car has been inspected by a member of Prima staff.
You may return the vehicle out of hours if you request this at the time of booking. There is no charge for this service.

Special equipment

Child seats are available at a cost of BHD 2.00 per day, up to a maximum charge of BHD 15.00 per rental.

GPS is available at a cost of BHD 3.00 per day, up to a maximum charge of BHD 30.00 per rental.
